How We Work
Once you have decided that you would like a 3D visual and quotation from us, you can either bring in your own measurements or alternatively we can arrange for a home measure to be carried out by one of our designers. There is a £75.00 charge for the home measure, which is deducted form the cost of the kitchen when you place the order.
Using the latest CAD design systems our designers will generate a photo realistic image of your new room, enabling you to visualize how your kitchen or bedroom will look. Once your new room has been designed we will invite you back to view and discuss the design, while fine tuning your requirements, ensuring that your room is everything and more that you desire.We truly care about our users & end product which is why our customers love us!
Initial Consultaion
Make an appointment with our designer to discuss your requirements and bring along your room dimensions and plans OR Make an appointment for our designer to visit your home, take measurements and discuss your requirements. There is a £75.00 charge for this service, which is deducted form the cost of the kitchen when you place the order.
Design Presentation
In the showroom we will present our initial proposal for your new kitchen or bedroom with drawings and a provisional quotation.
Placing The Order
Your contract, final plan & drawings are issued together. We ask you to confirm the order by signing the contract and drawings to make the required initial payment of 50% of the total cost.
We then conduct a final survey to ensure all measurements are correct. We will discuss a proposed timetable to co-ordinate the project from start to finish.
Installation
Because we use our own approved installers, you can be sure of the quality of our work. If it is a large project that requires building work then at BKS we can offer a complete turnkey service with our own approved building team. In fact, we can even decorate the room in your chosen finish. So from start to finish, you can relax in the knowledge that you only have one point of contact to see your project through to completion.
Although we usually supply and install our kitchens and bedrooms, we can also supply for you to arrange your own installation. Please see below our Terms and Conditions for Supply Only.
Terms and Conditions of sale for Supply Only
In these conditions Bespoke Kitchen Studios Limited is referred to as “the Company”.
All the terms and conditions of the contract between the Company and the Customer are contained in this document either on this page or the following but they shall not include any comments or additions made in handwriting unless signed for by an authorised representative of the Company.
- The Company shall in the absence of any special arrangements detailed in the contract determine the product arrangement.
- The Company’s Payment Terms must be complied with to ensure delivery on agreed date.
- Representations and showroom samples are used to demonstrate a typical product and its composition. All items that are shown in the plan and elevations will be manufactured in the way considered most suitable by the company. Due to its policy of continuous improvement, the company reserves the right to alter specifications and make necessary modifications without prior notice, provided that such alterations and modifications do not substantially alter the subject matter of the contract.
- Time is deemed not to be the essence of the contract, the Company will not be liable for any delay and the Customer shall have no claim or recourse for any inconvenience.
- The customer must ensure clear and safe access to the property for heavy delivery vehicles. This includes notifying the supplier of restrictions like narrow streets, stairs, or gravel drives.
- The delivery area should be clear of obstacles. It is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure that their floors are protected. It is not permitted for those delivering the kitchen to remove their safety footwear.
- Kitchens should only be delivered to a dry, secure and heated environment. If the property is a new build, extension or under renovation then it is the customers responsibility for the kitchen once delivery has been accepted. Kitchen cabinets and doors are constructed from wood/ wood based products and must not be stored in unsealed or unheated rooms. All items must be checked within seven days of delivery and any shortages or damage. After this time it is at the Company’s discretion to replace any missing or damaged item.
- The kitchen units and doors are guaranteed in accordance with the Company’s separate printed guarantee form as from the date of delivery, save that this guarantee shall be (or become) void if the full price is not paid on the due date.
- All electrical and gas appliances, sinks and taps are excluded from the Company’s guarantee and will be subject to the manufacturers own after sales service and warranty.
- All products used in the construction of our kitchens are manufactured to the highest standards, but the Company cannot be held responsible for minor imperfections. All timber products being a natural living medium are subject to grain and shading differences. This is the inherent beauty of natural products and as such the Company cannot be held responsible for such variations.
- In the event of cancellation of the contract being requested by the Customer and the Company accepting the same, the following charges will be made:
- Administration Charges £350.00
- Survey Fee £250.00
- If manufacture of the goods has started: 50% of the contract price
- If manufacture has been completed : 90% of the contract price
- The Company reserves the right to utilise the Customer’s name and photographs of the kitchen for publicity purposes.
- Payment terms as follows: Deposit of 50% with the balance to be paid at least seven days prior to delivery.
- Where Cosentino Silestone or Dekton worktops are supplied, the Customer gives the right for the Company to give their details to Cosentino for the purpose of registering the warranty of the worktops.
These terms and conditions do not affect the statutory or common law rights of the purchases.
